Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How do I place my order?

    Fill out our Quick Quote form. Your order will be processed and you will be emailed an order confirmation and collection date. If you don't want to order online, you are welcome to email us or drop into the depot and place your order in person. The Stornoway office and depot is open Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm and on Saturday 8am - 1pm . See the Contacts page for our address and a map of how to find us.

  2. When and how do I pay for my order?

    You pay when you collect your items from our Stornoway depot. We can offer you a range of payment methods:
    - Credit Card (Mastercard/Visa)
    - Debit Card (Switch/Solo)
    - Cash at the office
    - Postal Order/Cheque made payable to Woody's Express Parcels

  3. When can I collect my order?

    Normally after noon, 3 working days after you have placed the order so for example, if you place an order on a Friday, you could expect to collect your items after 12pm on the following Tuesday. We will contact you if there will be any delay in your collection date e.g. your items are out of stock. You will be emailed a collection date with your order confirmation. The Stornoway office and depot is open Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and on Saturday 9am - 12pm.

  4. What if I want my items delivered to my home or where I work?

    That's fine. Just tell us this when you come in to the depot to pay for your goods. We will give you a price for delivery and you will be asked to pay for this as well before your items are delivered.

  5. How long have I got to collect my order from the depot or arrange home delivery?

    Items should be collected after noon on your collection date. Please note that orders not collected from the depot within 3 days will be returned to Argos , we cannot store items indefinitely at the depot or prior to Christmas. This also applies to items where you will require home delivery; they must be paid for at the depot and home delivery arranged no later than 3 days after your stated collection date.

  6. What if there is a problem with my order or I want a refund?

    We are happy to try and help you resolve any problems or queries. Returns, refunds and so on can normally be dealt with very quickly. Simply call into the office, phone us or email argos@woodys-express.com.

    Your order will be processed by our staff who will email you confirmation of your order and a confirmed collection date when it will arrive at the depot. We'll look forward to seeing you when your items arrive
